A White House 'Gunrunner'?
Dan Restropo, NSC’s “top man for Latin America” according to this IBD editorial, is the latest White House official to be potentially implicated in Fast and Furious via the ATF memos.
I suspected all along that there is no way on God’s green earth that Obama and Holder did not at least know about this plan, and are very likely involved in a more strategic sense. It’s too big and brazen, too high-risk-high-reward, to not have high-level approvals.
But the legacy media has no time to chase this down, and really dig into this story, even though it has all the potential to be a Watergate-style scandal on which journalism careers are made and administrations are brought down.
The press hated and wanted to destroy Nixon, and they did, with his help. But they love and protect Obama, so they ignore anything that might hurt his re-election chances.
“Unbiased media”? Right. Take that bullshit down the block and sell it to somebody else.
